Below are some photos of my (finally!) finished ZM1000(R) Nixie tube clock. I am pretty pleased with the end result. The two anodized aluminum plates protect the user from touching the bare board and also look great. It is a compact desk clock, measuring (W×D×H)
100mm×60mm×59.5mm. The digits are
14mm tall, so the time is easily readable even across a medium-sized room. What makes it really attractive however are the ZM1000 Nixie tubes with their very fine hexagonal anode grid. I will solder and assemble a few more of these in the near future, so I also composed a
short manual for the future owner(s). Now available on
Etsy (and perhaps
eBay).
